Even at DFW, AA has a lot of mechanical issues. Recently, my original DFW ORD aircraft had an issue to they pulled another 788 that was supposed to fly internationally that day and we ended up getting the Casper duvet and pillow on this very short flight.
I’ve been relatively surprised by how many maintenance issues AA seems to have on its 777 fleet, especially the 77Ws which aren’t really very old. Seems that every 777 I fly on has maintenance personnel on board before departure.
