You seem to just be moving from one hotel to another. You must really be homeless!
I've read a few articles that seemed to suggest the renos were mostly complete back in 2014. They did the lower 8 floors or so in 2013, then did some further up in 2014. After that, it does sound like the changed course and scaled back the renovation. There are an assortment of reviews on TripAdvisor, showing photos of different configurations.
The bathroom you had, it looks like they didn't do anything to the tub, and still had some older looking tile around it.
This review photo, looks like the kept the tub, but upgraded all of the tile around it.
And then there was this photo from a reviewer, who was disappointed with the glass shower, and wanted a bathtub!
Since they apparently have lots of rooms with both configurations, maybe they should make it a room category selection. You can select 1 King or 2 Queens, so maybe they should have an option to choose Shower or Tub!
