And I wasn't asking for an answer to that - I just drafted out a scenario and was wondering how BA would approach it. Nothing to do with the current situation and many years of previous experience available I'm sure!

There is a 300 mile rule for cancelled services, LHR is just over that (313 miles) but I suspect you will be able to persuade BA to drop that leg if necessary. BRU and AMS are within 300 miles (as are a number of other places). Thank you! Yea, I tried the LH route last time they suspended DUS - unfortunately it explicitly excludes EW. Or that's what they told me anyway...

Good to hear there might be a bit of flexibility with dropping a segment though, that's all I wanted to know for now
