How is the J water? I'm considering getting the upgrade, as the paper cup on your picture screams "premium service".

Flying weekly between CDG & MUC, the upgrade rates have decreased from over 150€ to 79€ recently but definitely not worth it.
3 things, that are to me, unacceptable :
- No communication upfront so people are still buying J seats and expect full service as usual
- Explain this cost saving decision saying its linked to Covid19
- The "no f**k given" by most of the attendants when passengers are asking why they only serve water : "this is the new service from now on..."
I flew back from MEX to MUC last Friday (MEX to CDG in P and CDG to MUC in C).
Going from the best to the worse... and even by being escorted to the plane with P agent, being presented to the chief attendant by the agent, being C2000 Ulti, absolutely zero consideration neither care given during the entire flight.
I even had to remember the crew not to forget to give the Covid questionnaire as none or them knew about it and they were trying to convince me it was not required...
