A heads-up for newbies with Paula's products: they are unfragranced, because fragrances, though pleasing to the nose (usually), can be very irritating to the skin. It takes a bit of getting used to the slightly odd (though mild) smells of some of the cleansers, as there is nothing added to "mask" or perfume them.

When you think about it, you realize that a LOT of cosmetics, especially things that come into contact with your skin and hair, such as cleansers, moisturizers, sunscreens, shampoos, conditioners, etc., appeal to us because of added coloring and especially fragrance. The sense of smell has a very immediate, emotional impact. You have to let your rational mind realize that quite often the added coloring and fragrances are just not good for our skin.
