UPDATE: AS not budging, even after I said that the consensus on FT seemed to be about $125. The rep said everyone on my flight got $50. A pity. It seemed like a decent company.
All of the data points upthread are pre-Covid. It could be that AS has tightened their compensation guidelines as part of efforts to reduce expenses/increase revenue. Not that it makes it better but I think its going to get worse before it improves.
Too late now I think for the meal vouchers, but other had success in dumping them onto a Starbucks card via reload in the app.
