Older aircraft might also have a lower maintenance cost as there would be an ample supply of retired lifed parts with some time left on them sitting in a desert somewhere. And no demand for hard to find things like WiFi access points or air bladders.

With the mentioned low utilization rate, there would be a higher tolerance for more frequent part juggling.
