I signed up Spirit $8 Club a couple years back. This year I don't want to renew the membership. I received a renewal notice email back in October with instructions on how to cancel before the renewal date. It seemed straight forward. However, the most unbelievable thing happened: the cancel button simply doesn't work! There is no effect no matter how many times I click it. (I followed the instructions, logged in my account, and indeed I found the "cancel membership button". I clicked it, and confirmed that I want to cancel.) When I log out and log back in, it still shows that I am a member and there is x number of days left for auto renewal. I also tried with different browsers, yet no luck. It won't cancel my membership. I tried to call, but the line is always busy. I tried to create a service ticket, and received an email with a support number. But other than that, no more update from Spirit. Anyone has experience with this? How do you cancel the $9 Club membership? This is super frustrating. Any tip or advice would be highly appreciated!
