AC explicitly indicated that the options on the Max were cancelled. This is not the case for the A220. They can choose to exercise those options in the future if they decide add the 12 frames (or more) back.
Somehow I thought you were talking about the max lol, even though I was reading in a a220 thread. My bad haha.
And when I read it is a nice aircraft (thinking you were talking about the max) I jumped lolllll
