In addition to LondonElite's post, it's helpful to know date of travel. Right now, all international arrivals are at Terminal B which adds a little bit of time versus just arriving Terminal C (assuming your connection is from C) but that will change when traffic returns. Check this website for immigration time statistics. You'll see that average wait times at EWR B are under 10 minutes, even for non-US citizens.

Next September, hopefully post-vaccine; we have GE, but will also have checked luggage. I realize we can wait to book and see if the schedule becomes more favorable, but don't want to wait too long in case business fares jump beyond our voucher.
