I had major issues with LM and Ethiopian in October 2018. This was both before (a schedule/route change by Ethiopian) and at the airport. There was still an issue when I got to the airport, but luckily the Lufthansa agents were able to address everything quickly and professionally. Good luck. I cannot offer any advice, unfortunately.
