​​​​​​Well since they sold out so quickly, reality apparently disagrees with you it's not like you are paying $500 for just a card, it's $500 in Ed Bucks. There are plenty of people who think they will fly $500 worth of DL tickets at *some* point in the future and can float the $500.

Exactly. (Although not exactly 10%, we're paying $500 for $550 )

Of course, everyone's situation is different, and I would feel much less enthusiastic about this if I were already sitting on a pile of eCredits from COVID cancellations etc, but personally I've done pretty well with getting refunds vs credits, so for me this was a no-brainer.
