You can now send and receive cash when using an AMEX with Venmo. Sending cash will not incur a cash advance fee, no Venmo fee, and will count as a purchase for terms of interest accrual. You will also not earn rewards. A great option for float, especially if you nab a 0% for 12 or 15-month offer. Although I never used it, this seems like a better replacement to that ExpressCash service that was discontinued a year or so ago. Personal cards only.
