Thank you for contacting PayPal with your concern.

PayPal is a great and safe way of sending payments online. But every credit card company have their own policies that PayPal has to abide with. In abiding with these credit card company policies, PayPal is allowed to use credit cards as one of the funding source.

American Express has recently made a series of internal processing changes that are impacting their cardholders who also have PayPal Accounts. These changes include limiting all cardholders to a $2500 monthly spending limit with PayPal.

These changes were made by American Express and PayPal cannot 'override' any transactions. PayPal is currently requesting that American Express rescind these changes.

If you have concerns about these changes, please contact American Express customer service. Please note that American Express customer service representatives will not be able to provide any insight on a policy established by the American Express executive team.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us again.

Sincerely,
Thelma
