If the deal is approved every move they make will be under tight scrutiny so pulling a fast one will be hard.

The main assets they have are the 77Ws and Intermiles. But having only widebodies that they can't fly are more liabilities than any thing else right now.

So the key thing is "when operational again". And $50m over 2 years isn't getting them operational again at all. Forget creating a viable domestic airlines - even if they only want to do BOM/DEL/BLR - LHR runs and nothing else - I doubt that money can help them do that.

And given that travel isn't going anywhere in the next few years. It makes this all the more a crazy investment.
