Only Kauai has an approved metric (5 avg new/day over rolling 7 day period) the rest is ad hoc. When they shut down Lanai, there was 72 hours advance notice...and I think that was pretty gracious considering how things are dire there. I suspect if they shut down other islands, you'd have at least 3-5+ days to get out/change plans. While the volume of cases continues to tick up, I don't see any shutdown prospects on the horizon for now.
