I am also puzzled. And even if there is some good reason why this type of wetlease by BA from IB needs to be at IB catering levels, I am also puzzled as to why BA could not do it some other way that would provide BA service levels notwithstanding that the machine itself belongs to IB.

FWIW, I personally don't think "because it would show up IB service to be crap" would be a good reason.
