Was this on a 006 or 074 ticket ? I tried to change a KL [074] ticket to two weeks earlier (13 days to be exact) and simultaneously change the tcicket to BEG, however they said the 300-mile rule applies "within the same country" only, so I could only change to another airport in Hungary. Did you use any specific wording ?
