Looking at fares for SFO-GGT , it seems from checking Expert Flyer that the business fares are either non-refundable or fully refundable , so I think you will be ok
If you go through the booking process, when you get to the 'review and pay' page , there is a section 'Fare Rules' with a link 'Detailed fare rules' ; if you follow that link a very poorly formatted page is displayed , but if you search for cancel , it should not say "CANCELLATIONS ANY TIME TICKET IS NON-REFUNDABLE IN CASE OF CANCEL/NO-SHOW/ REFUND" , but should say " CANCELLATIONS PERMITTED FOR CANCEL/NO-SHOW."
it should display a fare basis at the top of screen - the refundable fares seems to end with "/SHRF"
Personally, I would just make booking by phone to be certain

So I did a few things a found out a few things.
- i tried a few other websites and they were all confusing.
- went through my credit card and they could not find the flights
- called AA and they mentioned a bug where people would choose business flexible, but then a popup shows a cheaper rate which in fact downgrades people to a regular business fare. she then did a manual override that changed it back to a flexible fare.
So reviewing the fare rules, I believe they match up to what you were mentioning.
