If this was a regular fare, and I had the same experience as a number of you guys did with KL in this thread where they refused to book against the published policy, I'd probably email Pieter Elbers and ask how this position aligns with his directive of conserving cash in the business, since any involuntary changes make you eligible for a cash refund.
