NZ has had 2 community transmission cases in the last few days. Picked by workers in a hotel quarantine facility that is housing seaman that have come to NZ to work on deep sea fishing boats. These people were tested negative before boarding/arriving, but more 31 have tested positive in NZ.
and these 200+ seaman were flying via a SQ chartered flight via singapore. (They stay on board the plane while layover at changi).
Hopefully those crew members are ok. (It have been more than 14 days since the flight).
There are actually 2 sets of crews serving this particular chartered flight.
