The overnight stop makes no difference, but it would be against at least the guidelines for someone to do this unless it was work related. And coming back, with the reduced level of flights, I suspect your PLF may get more scrutiny. I have my doubts that an enforceable statutory instrument can be devised from this, but the message should be clear by now: travel needs to be essential. The Scottish Government will probably be making announcements after Cobra today, they have already asked people not to travel to England except for essential purposes.
