Today, we are announcing eligible Free Night Awards (FNA) are being extended through August 1, 2021. Effective December 11, 2020 members who currently have a Free Night Award that had [has] an original expiration date in 2020, or which will expire before July 31, 2021, as part of their co-brand credit card benefit, annual choice benefit, promotions or travel package will be able to redeem it through August 1, 2021. Free Night Awards with an original expiration date prior to 2020 will not be eligible for the additional extension.
We are also extending the pause on points expiration again now through August 1, 2021. It had been paused until February 1, 2021.
So this means the FNA earned in 2019 (as part of annual choice benefit), which the original expiry date was 31-Dec-2020 and was extended to 31-Jan-2021, will get extended to 1-Aug-2021. Is this correct?
