It's a cash basic economy domestic US ticket, all AA metal, one-way , all bought on aa.com. I have no status. Flight isn't oversold.
Flight leaves within 24 hours, and under Manage Trips I don't even see a checkin button to be able to check in. I called AA and they said it's because I have a basic econ ticket with seat unassigned, but I wanted to ask here if this is correct/expected because this just sounds like agent is wrong? I should still be able to have the option to check in online for a basic economy domestic US ticket within 24 hours no?
you should be able to see it and able check in online. If you are nit able to do it it’s probably AA glitch and they will just check you at the airport
