Since we're on the topic of taxis, I will say the Bomonti did a great job helping me out when I had 2 scammy taxi drivers, both when arriving at the hotel. One was an airport ride through Uber where the driver tried to get me to pay an extra 100 Liras on top of the fare estimate in-app (was not using a meter), the other was a Bitaksi driver who wanted an extra cash payment on top of what was on the app. Both times I refused to comply and the Bomonti staff dealt with it perfectly.

I gave up on using "Uber"/bitaksi after those incidents and never had a problem with the taxis off the street, as long as I made sure they had their meters on.
