To be honest, I probably won't worry about it though, and just hope that they don't expire.
You can transfer up to 25,000 per year into Amtrak's program, and from there into United's Mileage Plus program. I'm draining my CO account that way. I just hope the Star Alliance is in one piece so I can redeem the UA miles for some Varig flights within South America.
