This is terrible news, if it is true that as a United Club member I will no longer have access to the Club Acela lounges. This recently was a life saver on a trip from NYP to PHL. Due to COVID, all the seating and waiting rooms at NYP have been closed off and so people were sitting on the floor at the station waiting for their train. Fortunately, I was able to use the Club Acela, was the only one in the lounge (which has been renovated) and got to relax in relative comfort while waiting for my train. I will hate to lose this benefit.
