Very similar situation here. 2 out of 3 were used. The 3rd one was going to be used at a post cruise stay at St. Petersburg Russia in April, again long before the Jul 2020 expiration. Of course that did not happen and we still have it. So we will do the same thing as you do.

I do not agree the argument of maximization of value - while in the old days some or many, tried that. A lot of us simply have plans to use them well before the expiration dates which are disrupted by the Pandemic. To accuse others fail to use the certs because others try to maximize value is a total nonsense and uncalled for. Just my 2 pennies.
