PS: Just a datapoint, but Hong Kong is getting extra careful with arrivals from France as several pax were detected as positive upon arrival.
I booked my appointment about 1 week in advance, but if I’m taking a look now, I can book an appointment for tomorrow. France improved quite a lot the turnaround time for testing - I read yesterday that 60%+ tests were now available <24h, 85%<48h. Not sure if that’s true but my family had to get tested last week in another lab (not synlab) in the suburbs and experienced the same turnaround time.
i didn’t have anything to mention to « expedite » the process, though they asked me the reason for testing (in my case, travel + « cas contact »)
