Not sure what the AC contract says.
CARS says:
Long-range Flights- 700.22 (1) A flight or series of flights that terminates more than 4 one-hour time zones from the point of departure, shall be limited to 3 sectors and shall be followed by a rest period that is at least equal to the length of the preceding flight duty time.
The block time for YYZ-DOH is 12.5 hours.
Show up for work 75 minutes before. Off duty 15 minutes after, that’s a 14 hour duty day.
With 16 hours between flights, that’s 14.5 hours off duty.
Should be good unless the flight is late.
What happens if the incoming aircraft from YYZ is late? Imagine flying in January, winter storm and with deicing, it's very normal for flights to be late by as much as 2 hours.
