How does the test on arrival situation work? How do you mean nobody is stopping. Is not like in Dubai etc where there is testing before you hit passport control?
Can you literally exit without being tested no hassle? I know you might have police risk but if you leave within 48 hours I'm happy to do so.
Question: why?
You have the chance, at no cost for yourself, to get tested. Why do you have to break the rule, commit a potential crime and potentially endanger other people's lives. All this for what, your weekend away? If you don't fancy the risk of being quarantined in Italy, you can do a test for 80 quid at LHR prior to departure.
I'm also assuming you won't be self isolating once back in the UK, are you?
