I just tried to subscribe to a thread and while the system accepts it, it does not show up in MyFlyertalk nor does it have the little bent arrow indicating a subscription. I have not posted to this thread, I'm just interested in subscribing to it.

Yes, I've pressed the "confirm" button to activiate the subscription .
