Answering for myself, I think... it looks like DL does not allow more than one credit card per transaction. Therefore I would have to split the purchase of two tickets into two transactions, each of which would require its own $50 gift card. This may present a problem with 2nd person being on a different PNR and therefore not benefit from my status (like free checked bags)?
