I just canceled the November attempt... moved my flights to April 2021 and was crossing fingers that Marriott would extend the life of my 7-night certificate. Now with the "original" fine print I'm not sure where I stand -- this is certificate I paid for with points, not one that came free with a credit card.

An update... As the certificate did not reappear in my account I telephoned the Titanium line and asked them to check on status. They had to manually remove the certificate from canceled reservation and put it back into my account. I then asked if I could use it to book for April and was told no because it expires 1/31. She further went on to state that because it was originally issued in 2018 it was not eligible to be extended... she went away to check with her supervisor (I assume) and was told the same -- would not be extended. I have two of these things 7-night cat 5 (from old cat 8 certificates). Not happy if they expire without being able to use them.
