The German Döner Kebap is similar to the greek gyro except that the meat is usually served with focaccia bread, a ranch-like sauce, Turkish pepper, slices of onion, fresh lettuce, and tomato. There are variations including the addition of cabbage or red cabbage, yogurt dressing, goat cheese and more.

Great ones can be had at this place across from the BachenheimWarte in Frankfurt.
