I had a category 1.-4 certificate (i had received it from the old category 1-5 that got converted to the new 1-4) and it was originally scheduled to expire Feb of 2020. I had requested an extension and they did grant the extension to Feb 2021 and I was hoping to use it this week for a summer trip but then of-course COVID happened. My question is, does anyone know if the certificates that has been extended once are also being extended till Aug ?

The language seems to indicate, certificates whose "original expiration date" is in 2020 (and now before July 31) are extended till Aug. However for certificates that have been extended once by Marriott, is the original expiration date considered the new date of the extension or the one of the original certificate ?

In short, will a certificate that has been granted a one year extension and expiring in Feb 2021 be extended till Aug ?
