Budget car rentals at YVR - for Whistler driving - snow tires required Oct - March -
Booked for next month for 1 week - full size car through Costco web site - at CAD$276 (all included) with Budget..
Of course, driving regulations for Whistler are snow tires required from Oct to March.
Called budget call centre (agent in USA) - as nobody was answering the phone at the YVR Budget site.
I was told that Budget in mid Nov (when we are traveliing) would have a grand total of 1 car with snow tires. An intermediate car with the weekly rate at $416.
I am not sure if that is a Costco rate.
Is there way of getting snow tires on a rental car at YVR next month using the Costco (or some other) discounted rate- without having to pay a premium for having the car with installed snow tires?
