By doing a dummy booking you can usually tell if there really are any seats available or not, or if you have it use Expert Flyer to see what seats remain for sale.
The full website will show you how many seats are still available. On a recent check, one flight had 10 unassigned seats but only 4 were available for purchase. Try to purchase 5F and the availability of the flight disappeared from the results. I have also been upgraded at T-96.
