When my daughter obtained her new British passport, she had already completed 20 years. Has anyone in this forum faced a similar situation please?
Your daughter is free to use that one OCI with for the next 30 or so years until she gets her first new passport after turning 50, according to the current rules. I certainly think that is far too lenient and rsks missing out on new security features, and a ten year renewal period should be the max, but most people are happy the babus don't get more of their money in the interim I suppose.
