While your bias certainly doesn't show, I wouldn't (make that couldn't) make UK my primary flying partner unless I was flying in and out of DEL. Depending on how you redeem - UK's charts are very good for Y & PE. Of course 9W would have better international coverage given that their fleet now is almost all 77Ws.
Still this discussion I think is months if not at least a year away. The proposed plan has to go through several hurdles before it is approved and then there is the whole effort of actually restarting the airlines which won't be easy no matter how many pilots and airlines staff get laid off by other airlines between now and then.
I almost exclusively use UK miles for Y only.. if I need to fly PE, i book with cash.. the cash difference is usually way less than the miles requirement.. for J class I usually book PE on cash and use the upgrade vouchers.. or the free J class vouchers I earn from the Axis card.. I dont think UK miles should be used for anything else at all..
