I'm in Penang. Not trying the Angsana as I feel that a promo rate of RM499++ in the current situation to not be worth the money.

Instead I'm at the Mercure Penang (which has reopened!) in their suite and I paid RM137 net. (I got upgraded).

The rooms have had some slight renovation done, new furniture, fresh coat of paint and new thermostats.

A bottle of wine, cookies and fruits was waiting for me.

EUR28 for a suite... I'm not complaining!
