I disagree - an active airfield with a volunteer team of engineers; it would be very doable. Look at the Dunsfold and Bruntingthorpe VC10s (until both sites basically evicted them in different ways)... I didn't say airworthy.
Anway, hope this isn't the only BA 744 that escapes the scrapman.
