Not quite sure about the 747 but definitely the 777. The 345s have two daily flights, and I read somewhere that it is for some flight deck ops affairs (training, clocking, not quite sure... make urself free to correct me). Furthermore I would also think it's profitable for SQ to do so, rather than placing this flight on the tarmac for no good reason in between flights. A 4-hour turnaround isn't all that bad.
