Had another stay this last weekend. I'm less and less enamored with this place each time.

The good: added carpet to stairways and remodeled halls/rooms. Nice to have the A/C built in instead of lying on the floor. Check-in is back inside, and part of the lobby remodel should be completed in the next few weeks, with the restaurant remodel still months from completion (per front desk).

The bad: they are now charging for parking. They are now charging for parking. They are now charging for parking.
In all my stays (I've stayed at this property no less than 15 times), I've never once been recognized as a repeat stay, I've never once received an upgrade. In fact I was asked if this was my first visit. Even acknowledgement of my return patronage would be sufficient for me.
