I agree that they will be retired from service, but it doesn't say when, just that they would be. They could have accelerated retirement by several years, they could have already parked them permanently, it's unclear based on that statement. We are also 5 months from that announcement, and they are still advertising YUL-MRS next year with a 763, so if it was done and dusted back in May, I would expect they would have put some other placeholder aircraft on the route.

Additionally, the AC fleet page doesn't have any mainline 763 listed but still shows the Rouge ones.

Hence why I was wondering if there was any update. I'd want a little more confirmation before I book the YUL option (although it means a CRJ from PHL), before I go with the not-as-preferable LH flights.
