I have a friend who lives in Johannesburg and he has a UK-based friend who tested positive after arrival in ZA and then had his mobile phone checked for anything to do with his location before he flew to JNB. Two photos taken in the UK 4 days before travel have caused him quite some trouble.

Thanks, yes, was looking at 10 days in another country - probably Morocco as less likely will be put on a red list.

The only time I’d be back in the UK would be at LHR changing flights - and per my above post think I’d need to change flights so I can check bags through and stay airside.
