KL's ATH flights are pretty full these days, both ways and in both classes.
By the way, does KL1955 even exist? An odd flight # would be a AMS departure in any case.

I am sure it was in J, not mentioned in any of the press - one of the local press said it was much cheaper even if they paid for a J-fare (~649 Euro pp) for them to return with KLM vs the govt plane (~40k euro to send and pick them up).
Indeed it was KL1576 (I don't know why I typed 1955
). Most probably the delay is indeed waiting for those special boxes...or waiting for their connecting private transportation from their villa to the airport...too bad they did not manage to try out the Goldair lounges there....
