My original question was actually to see if there were other options, ie flight shares, empty legs etc.

The normal cost of getting pets to Australia (via air cargo) has gone through the roof due to covid. The rate we’ve been quoted is extortionate and it may be cheaper trying something different.

The pet shipping service only take care of the paperwork etc, they don’t set the flight cost unfortunately! The guy we are working with is great but this is something he can’t control. Hence my question for alternatives
