The Welsh Government has now moved to the next step and announced that they will ban visitors from highly infected English areas from entering Wales. The First Minister announced that the measures should be in place by the end of the week. The position seems to be supported by members of the Welsh Assembly from all parties except the Conservative which will likely give it some legitimacy (I have not seen specific public opinion data on how the Welsh population feels about it).

Earlier today, Ms Sturgeon suggested that she fully supported Mr Drakeford's concerns and approach and if I were to guess, I would imagine that Scotland is now very likely to take a similar measure.
