Don't believe them. I got held-up inside their major gay disco with staff there. When I tried to report it to the management they treated me like a trouble maker. I have been around the world, with little problem, and I would think twice about going again to RIO.

While sitting at a restaurant for a meal, I saw a gang walk in and hold up a group of tables. Thankfully, this time they neglected me.

It is beautiful, but they are not shooting up cop stations and the city hall (look up the news reports) for nothing.
